Building Consensus

About

The “Building Consensus” Team consists of three professionals and up to five assistants with our focus on providing Estate services.   Our objective is Your objective to avoid court or ISC intervention so that your member’s wishes can be honored with respect and dignity.

Our summary

Our “Building Consensus”  Team provides Indigenous and First Nation Peoples and Communities with professional services in the area of Wills & Estates by way of offering professional services with individual members to prepare legal and professional Wills and Estate legal documents including Powers of Attorneys and Health Care Directives and Last Wishes and Letters to Family Members.

Our mission is to ensure Your community members make proactive decisions about their Estate matters and to ensure that your community members’ wishes are heard and legally protected.   This will assist your family members greatly so that they do not deal with confusion and family strife at the most challenging times in their lives.

It is important for your community members to have an Estate Plan in place including a valid Will so that your community members have direct control over their assets without court nor Indigenous Services involved.   This reduces fees for the Chief and Council.
